We really do not understand the rationale
behind the successive governments of India in appointing commission after
commission under eminent persons to help
the government in determining the direction towards the educational reforms .
All the valuable suggestions Determined efforts are needed to clean the
multiple and deep rooted problems in our education sector .of the Kothari, justice Varma and Yash pal committees
have not been implemented so far. The only real reason is the low
priority given to education sector’s long pending requirements in the budgetary
allotments . As long as this attitude continues , higher human capital formation rate and reformation
of the education sector from top to bottom
is not at all possible . There is no use of feeling proud about higher
percentage of youth population and demographic dividends is not likely be
reaped through a magical wand. The
quality of the knowledge and skills gained by the students from the centers if
higher education learning should be of high order only will determine the high
rate of human capital formation ,
