SPB

SPB‘s departure from this world has saddened everybody who know about him. What has made every common man who has enjoyed his music to mourn this much is not related mainly to his professional achievements but to ho be personal qualities. The great decree humanness with which he has treated his kith and kin, fellow musicians, admirers, young music aspirants, even his competitors and employers has earned laths of admirers for him. Very rarely we come across people who have only friends and well wishers and none as enemies. He has never propagated his charitable activities. We come to know about them only after his departure. His eyes always expressed only kindness, love and admiration even for small achievement of other musicians.  Winning so many hearts all over the world is his best achievement along with earning name and fame through his awards and musical records.  We will be missing his evergreen smile and excellent performances. Indeed, he has left a huge vacuum in the film music world which would be difficult to be filled in the near future.

Need for Neet examination

Page 2 of 24th September 2020 of The Hindu was dominated by news items related to certain medical crises cases successfully tackled by the medical personnel of the various hospitals in Chennai and other places in India . All the doctors who are practicing in India currently and in the past and have many success stories to their credit   had their primary,  secondary and professional medical education in Indian  education sector. May be, they had their additional qualification abroad later in their lives for specialisation.  Those who  migrated to work in foreign nations  too,  are recognised for their efficiency in medical service. All these personnel   have not entered into the medical institutions through an All India Entrance Examination like NEET.  When the structure of The NEET examination is not related to the state board schools  curriculum and has become a contentious point in deciding about the merit of the medical aspirants and depriving many students of their dreams to become doctors , it has to be revaluated and corrective steps are to be taken soon . Nothing is wrong with the hither too existing system  that had produced excellent doctors.
