The status of India in covid management

The world media and the Indian media  are exposing all the blunders committed by the Government of India in managing the covid pandemic . There is chaotic management of vaccine, oxygen cylinders   hospital beds and ambulances . It is depressing to see bodies floating in holy waters due to inability of poor people to pay for funeral expenses. People are dying without oxygen in ICUs. Does the Indian government have any sensitivity about these tragic happenings ? Any one is holding responsibility for the loss of lives  resulting due to the man made blunders ? The courts are agitated and making observation after observation about the governments inefficiency in handling the crisis . But who cares?

Crime against humanity in India

It was highly distressing to read the media reports  of the loss of lives in Delhi and other places  in i India due to oxygen crisis. Families send their dear ones to hospitals for saving their lives and not to lose them forever. If a vehicle drivers or doctors cause deaths due to their negligence in their duties they are punished as per the laws of the land by the courts. But who is accountable to all the loss of lives due to mismanagement of oxygen, Coved medicines ,vaccines and  vaccine prices,  medical man power, hospital beds and ambulances? The Courts had been repeatedly warning the central and state governments regarding the chaos in the management of Covid pandemic. Yet, the governments didn’t listen to any y body’s advice. Who advised them that, conducting assembly and local elections and other gatherings are of paramount importance amidst this medical crisis? This resulted in the diversion of the resources and attention of the leaders to election matters from a humanitarian crisis facing the nation. India’s shallow medical infrastructure status stand exposed to the world despites the tall claims of “top emerging economy and “future Asian leader.” The doctors who are toiling and risking their lives to save lives of their patients are   silently fuming over the man made crisis and the nation is also watching the clumsy handling of pandemic with unbelievable happenings. But no prompt measures are taken to make alright the oxygen supply to hospitals which are making distress calls to the governments .  Failure to arrange for required quantity of oxygen to hospitals and patients at home and allow them to die gasping for oxygen Is  a crime against humanity deserving severe punishment .
