The reasons given by eminent
persons for the pardon to actor Sanjay Dutt
is very amusing. All along we were
thinking that, every one is equal before law
and with that principle as basis only the highest court has awarded the punishment to Actor Sanjay Dutt. But we have come to know that the celebrities have escape route from
verdicts of punishment ,only after justice Markanda kadju rushed to offer
guidance to Sanjay Dutt . Thousands of
youth who were arrested on mere suspicion of terrorism are languishing in jail
for years together. But none of the VIPs have rushed to the media to talk
on their behalf and suggested to them ways to come out of prisons . At least
Sanjay Dutt had the privilege to remain free for twenty years , pursue his
carrier and be with his family, thanks
to the delayed justice delivery system in India . Think about other poor
accused persons who were arrested immediately
on mere suspicion.
