farmer's protest in Delhi

In a democracy, the ruling party should enact laws after considerable  discussions with all the stake holders and debates in the parliament in spite of their majority position. Resorting to ordinance root even in the case of very vital laws is not good  in a functioning democracy. Laws which help the growth of one sector at the expense other sectors  will not help the faster growth of an economy . Agriculture is the primary sector In India.  The Indian economy  depends on it for the requirements   of food, raw materials, industrial and tertiary sector’s development , employment generation  and  exports .   Any set back in that sector will have undesirable  linkage effects on the economy affecting the growth rate. The government should lend ears to the farmers grievances and fears and come to an amicable settlement with agitating farmers than considering their protests as politically motivated  and prolong this problem
