The details and the visuals
presented in the print and the electronic media regarding the way a principal
of a school in Tamil Nadu forced the
students in their uniforms to act as substitute for the toilet cleaner
when, they are in that school for knowledge gaining is shocking indeed. It
raises serious doubts about the quality of teachers training rendered in this nation. Are
the teachers trained only in the technicalities of teaching and not in human
handling of the students ? Are not the students enrolled in formal schools for personality development and value
education in addition to learning different subjects or to do cleaning work? If the teachers are not trained in handling students with human attitude ,they can be substituted by
robots . At least they will not be programmed to humiliate the students in different ways and leave a permanent scar in
their minds. Thank God ! Some of those affected students have not attempted suicide .
