student's creative capacity

. Pulapre Balakrishnan has raised the real and serious issues affecting the creativity element in our Sri education system in his article,“The class room is instructor’s castle.”( 22.5.1) in the Hindu.  Steve Wozniac , the co founder of a Apple Computers  has commented about the creative aspect of our educational  system  only  recently, but it had been pointed out for a long time , by eminent Indian educational experts and also by DR. Amaratia Sen whenever  he had talked about crisis in Indian education sector. Right from primary up to PG and research level , the questioning  young minds are brutally crushed . Academic freedom is totally non existence in our education sector. Right from Union HRD minister till the principals level  the aim is to curb academic freedom in teaching and learning .Creative minded teachers who experiment  with any innovative pedagogic methods are  ridiculed and those who encourage rote learning and adopt out dated methods are awarded. There is no incentives for those teachers who attempt to sharpen the creative mind of the students . Even the so called think tanks of our nation are  crippling  free discussion with ridiculous rules guiding discussions  since,  it is  the norm in India  . The academic world is fully aware of the real merit of API in which maximum of window  dressing gimmicks are   resorted. The teachers are over loaded with the need to create and maintain  too  many records to satisfy too many regulatory bodies ,  headed by the UGC .To day’s students have fertile and questioning minds due to internet revolution  .But they are burdened with archaic teaching and learning process. Hence, the fault is not with the students  creativity capacity but , in the failure of our educational hierarchy to raise up to their expectation .

great vibrant indian democracy

Indian democracy is described as a vibrant democracy  by Indians .  China  says India is a democratic mess . Neutral  political observers like me feel India is slowly losing its political ethics especially after every election . Power  hungry  parties go to any extent to form government as happened in Goa, Mani pur and Karnataka . Only the voters are confused especially when ,they vote for a candidate of one party,  based on their political ideology  and make him /  her win.  After election those shameless candidates petray their voters and join another party for minister ship or money or other favours . What type of vibrant democracy is this ? Now we understand why all the parties   ruling the central  governments never attempt to introduce electoral reforms .

NEET comlications and the CBSC board

Every one is shocked to know from the media the serious blunders the  CBSE has committed in the organizing the nation wide NEET examination . The entire Tamil Nadu is able to understand the extent of mental and physical stresses the medical aspirants of this state  and their parents went through in attending that examination . Can any one attend peacefully a highly competitive examination like NEET after going through such turmoil ? The central and state government  of Tamil Nadu , the Supreme  Court and the CBSC board together have  failed to understand the storm in the minds of the  medical aspirants because of the clumsy arrangements made by the CBSE in this matter. Who should take up the responsibility to render justice to all the victims of the stupidest blunders committed in organizing the NEET examination . The curse of this nation is that, the civil society is made to undergo all types of sufferings  because of the inefficiency or callous attitude of the  high mighty  officials of various organisations in charge of various projects and yet they go scot free and not accountable to any thing . A reexamination may render some justice to the victims
