Inclusive India

The first page report on the “Muslim youth beaten up in Gurugram “ and the details on the nature of FIR filed is only a sample of what is likely to follow in several parts of this nation, especially in North India. This incident  stand testimony to many unpleasant incidents that are likely to happen due extreme happiness of the cadres of the ruling party over  the  high level success in the recently concluded National election. This is going to be the  “Inclusive India ‘’, a proclamation thundered into our ears in the last three days .Brutal strength in parliament  is dangerous in a democracy especially when the main opposition is reduced to a  week position . Hence, there is an urgent need to revive the Congress party. It is because, this age old party stands for , holistic democracy, Gandhian secularism  and federalism based national unity.  Their revival is the need of the hour since,we do not have any other National party with similar ideologies .These ideologies are meant for uniting the people and the states and not dividing. A strong opposition is good for the ruling party too, since it will check them during excesses committed due to arrogance of power and protect them from unpopularity wave during their term in office.
